what does it mean if my black handles battery gets hot?

I have a battery charger, and there is a red and black handles and black handles are burning hot when the battery.

Resistance causes heat. You do not have a good connection between the battery and squeeze or pinch that the cable connection is dirty, corroded or loose. The acid fumes coming from a charging battery corrode clamps and connections very quickly. If you had a reversed polarity or the battery was "to draw too many amps" clamps, cables and battery will all heat.
