Nikon, Canon?
Compared to my other Nikon, Canon Question …. I've always shot with Nikon .. n-90 … f-2 …. but research into digital images online, Canon CMOS sensor, were better at higher ISO settings than the Nikon! So yes it is me who says it … Research for yourself. so why doesn't Nikon use CMOS sensors in all their cameras?
Its all hype when it comes to the negligible differences. If you already have Nikon lenses why spend all that money go to buy new a new system. Both cameras shoot professional quality images. As a business strategy, switching systems are not a good plan. If you already own Canon stick with Canon, the same applies for Nikon. Going from film body for the digital body is an intuitive move. Switching brands is a new learning curve. I shoot my D100 at ISO 6400 and ISO on my D200 3200, when ever the light is low. The results are much better than the 3200 ISO film shot on any camera (noise vs. grain). In the real world shooting (not lab tests), you will find it difficult to tell which images are produced by the CCD or CMOS sensors. CMOS is still a few growing pains. Only Canon has ventured into this area. Each has unique strengths and weaknesses giving advantages in different applications. Neither is categorically better than another, although dealers sell only one technology is usually claimed otherwise. In a few years, there should be an entirely new technology that will revolutionize sensors and then all the camera functions of enterprises will adopt it as The new "standard".
