tripod ?????????

I have a Casio Exilim digital camera, and I plan to buy a large tripod. Since I am not familiar with this, I want to know: Does it matter what type / brand etc.. the tripod I buy? Meaning would my digital camera into any of them?

Virtually all tripod will work for you. Although I am sure that some cameras can take a 3 / 8 "mounting, standard 1 / 4". The camera is relatively easy, so they Most preferably tripods will keep it. I prefer whats called a "ball head", but you will probably end up getting what is called a "pan and tilt" which means that it has three buttons, one to adjust the angle of the camera in the horizontal plane, one for vertical and one that makes it possible to drive around in the rack. They are fine! One thing you can look for a removable mount, one that allows you to easily take the camera off the tripod, instead of turning each time it makes life much easier! And a hook at the bottom to allow you to add some weight if the wind blows, and a spirit level is nice too!
